The birth of a new region in southern Italy, the Province of Andria-Brleta-Trani, where the project will take place, provides an opportunity for 4 days to reflect on the opportunities offered by cooperation between institutions – government agencies and NGOs with special emphasis on annual priorities. Youth In Action (YIA): unemployment and youth mobility, creativity, talent and entrepreneurship for environmentally sustainable development.
All participants-partners are 40 in number and they will work to promote European cooperation through a dynamic seminar, where on the one hand will encourage young people analytical thinking and democratic participation in civil society and, on the other hand, self-criticism of state institutions in their relationships with young people. More experts will be engaged in the practical training, who will bring to light the individual expectations and competencies of the participants with the help of dynamic activities, role-plays and other collective activities that will help cooperation and future projects under the Youth in Action Program.
The seminar will be a good opportunity to compare different strategies for better participation in local and global political discussions. Participants will be supported to work together on multinational projects and also to use the knowledge gained from the seminar in their daily work.
